Bangkok, Thailand, 20 December, 2008 โ€“ The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is joining hands with six tourism organizations namely โ€“ the Thai Hotels Association (THA), The Association of Domestic Travel (ADT), the Association of Thai Tour Operators (ATTO), the Thai Ecotourism and Adventure Travel Association (TEATA), the Thai Tourism Promotion Association (TTPA), and the Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) to organize a tourism promotion event during 20 โ€“ 21 December, 2008, at the Ballroom, Zone A, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.

Thailandโ€™s new Minister of Tourism and Sports, Weerasak Kowsurat, met with Deputy Transport Minister, Anurak Jureemart, on 18 April 2008, to jointly explore the possibilities for promoting waterborne tourism.
