Las Vegas is a city of dreams. For those lucky enough to have achieved theirs, Las Vegas offers a variety of luxurious accommodations and extravagant activities. In this post I’m going to take a look at some of the most extravagant tourist haunts if money is no object for your Las Vegas holiday.
Fantasies Come True at The Palms
The fantasy tower at the Palms has several unique suites that let guests live out a dream. There is a Barbie Malibu Dream House, a Hip Hop suite with a DJ booth, and a suite used in the MTV reality show, Real World. The Kingpin suite has two full sized bowling alleys, a lounge with a theater sized TV and a pool table. The 10,000 square foot, two story Hardwood Suite features a half court basketball court, a professional locker room and super-sized furniture to accommodate athletes.
For sheer luxury, however, it is hard to beat the 9,000 square foot, two story sky villas, reachable by their own private glass elevators. Both have glass walled Jacuzzis, saunas, revolving beds and terraces with spectacular views. Each can accommodate 250 people at a time.

Its guests are set apart and catered to from the moment their plane arrives at the airport and they are whisked to the hotel in a complimentary limousine. From then on, their personal suite attendant sees to their every need, from a facilitated check in to the fridge fully stocked per their specific requests. A private elevator is for the exclusive use of the special guests of the 32nd floor.
The 2,000 square foot, two bedroom penthouse has plasma TVs throughout, including a 65 inch HDTV and a 15 inch TV in the master bath. In addition to the steam shower, there is a hydrotherapy soaking tub. Both bedrooms feature ultra king beds.
The Lanai Suite at the Cosmopolitan

The Lanai Suite at the Cosmopolitan (www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com) has a private outdoor terrace, almost as large as the 800 square foot suite itself, and a deluxe Jacuzzi. Its second floor bedroom offers breathtaking views through two story windows and a projection TV that lowers from the ceiling. A relative bargain with rates from $1000/ night.
A Home Away From Home at Encore

Probably The Best Views of the Strip at The Four Seasons

Luxury at the Four Seasons (www.fourseasons.com) means suites, located on either the 35th or 39th floors, with panoramic 180 degree views of the Las Vegas Strip. The bedrooms in these one bedroom suites have walk-in closets and marble baths. With the addition of adjoining rooms, these suites can be enlarged to two or three bedrooms.
And if you feel the need to leave your room…

Of the many activities available, some might be of particular appeal to a sky’s-the-limit visitor to Las Vegas. Vegas Indoor Skydiving uses a wind tunnel to simulate the freefall experience of skydiving. Helicopter tours from Las Vegas fly over the Grand Canyon and the spectacular scenery in between. When in the city, The Zero G Experience, which allows participants to undergo true weightlessness while flying in a special plane, flies from McCarron Airport.
